A PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF A MULTIFACETED ELECTRONIC VOTING FRAMEWORK [full paper]

The paper throws light on the potentiality of electromagnetic band gap structure and defective ground structure in ameliorating the performance of four element microstrip antenna array. Plus shape patch type electromagnetic band gap structure and rotated dumb bell defective ground structure are employed. The proposed antenna array has bandwidth and gain equal to 54.54 % and 12.77 dB respectively. Virtual size reduction of 26.58 % is also produced. The interference level is improved with reduction in mutual coupling value from -17.83dB to -25.13 dB respectively. Moreover, the proposed microstrip antenna array is also yielding appreciable reduction in back lobe radiation. The dielectric substrate employed is FR-4 glass epoxy. The microstrip antenna arrays are designed using Mentor Graphics IE3D software and measured results are obtained using vector network analyzer.

CONTROL END-EFFECTOR MOVEMENT OF ROBOTIC ARM BY PSEUDOINVERSE METHOD [full paper]

Inverse kinematics and pseudoinverse method for controlling movement of robotic arm is presented in this paper. For that task we used robotic arm DOBOT for which we made simulation model in Matlab environment and SimMechanics toolbox. We described in detail pseudoinverse method and problem solving of pseudoinverse for non-square matrixes. Because in future we will make implementation this method to movement control of robotic arm, we made simulation, how many digits we will need for correctly calculating of goniometrics functions in DSP.

THE APPLICATION OF THE MACHINE LEARNING PRINCIPLES IN THE SPORTS BETTING SYSTEMS [full paper]

Use of machine learning for football match result prediction is still a difficult task. Betting companies use predictions for betting odds estimation and profit generation. Chosing the correct data for training models is thus crucial. In this paper the data model is selected and multiple machine learning algorithms are compared. Along with data model selection, impact of number of game seasons on success rate was analyzed. Last but not least, simple three class prediction was compared to separate binary predictions of win, lose and draw. All models were tested by one whole game season from last 380 games of English football championship Premier League. The best results acieved passed 60% accuracy, which outperforms all the analyzed works.

COMPARISON OF MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNAS OPERATED ON 2.45GHZ
[full paper]

Nowadays we are living in the ages of innovations. The expansions of communication systems is unbelievable. Many of devices recent are based on database and cloud systems. They need to be connected with other devices and services provider. Well known types of transmission are radio frequency (RF) and optical systems. They use different access for communication. In case of RF systems is need in/out device proposed to receiving/sending of signals. Now are available the many of types of antennas. They are divided by purpose, shape, material, value of radiated power, gain and price. For each purpose is appropriate different type of antenna. The low cost type of antenna is microstrip patch antenna. They are represented by different shapes and materials. Microstrip patch antenna contains the layer of substrate placed between two conduct layers. Parameters of antenna could be affected by change of relative permittivity of substrate. Nowadays are available many of high frequency materials with low value of relative permittivity. The point of this paper is comparison of two types of microstrip patch antennas witch different shapes of radiation patch.

VIRTUAL SYSTEM OBFUSCATION [full paper]

This publication deals with obfuscating of virtual systems against malware. It describes virtual systems, malicious code, weaknesses of virtual systems and methods of obfuscating. The addresses at the type of virtual system, use in practice, definition of malware and methods of avoiding systems designed to detect malicious software. Findings are applied in the design and subsequently in the implementation of the tool. The tool uses wear and tear artefacts to obfuscate virtual systems which are detecting malicious software. Designed and implemented software section of this publication is launched in virtual system with operation system Windows.

ADAPTIVE SELF-TUNING FUZZY BACKSTEPPING CONTROLLER FOR THE CONTROL OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE WITH TWO-MOTOR-WHEEL DRIVE [full paper]

Smart Grid or intelligent networks are the most frequently mentioned topic currently. We can say that research in this area is highly actual. This paper describes the impact of intelligent network elements on the part of a village or microgrid. The modell examines the effect of electric vehicle charging on the stability of distribution network operation. In addition to the chargers, the modell also features renewable sources, which are an inseparable part of the smart grid.

THE CONCEPT OF MULTILAYERED NETWORK MODEL FOR 5G NETWORKS [full paper]

In this paper, actual research of the multilayered networks will be presented. The multilayered networks will become an important phenomenon in an upcoming new generation of 5G networks. In the near future, new network technologies, Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Cities will reveal new possibilities of 5G networks. These networks along with IoT are considered a promising technology that interconnects different types of networks into one fully functional network. Part of those networks will be also Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANET), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and Fly Ad-Hoc Networks (FANET). The aim of this paper is to present the concept of a multilayered network model consisted of networks mentioned above. The simulations prove, that such a model is able to provide better data rates, delivery time and save some energy due to the lower number of hops.
