JANKOVIĆ, ZORAN — BUDIMAC, ZORAN — IVANOVIĆ, MIRJANA Possibilities for Functional Improvement of B2B Systems on Serbian Market [full paper] B2B systems are still in a state of flux. There are numerous techniques for implementation and even more approaches for
theoretical debut and classification. Most of existing solutions have certain functional limitations, depending on market and industry
they serve. This paper focuses on the horizontal network marketplaces, as a specific type of B2B systems. The possibilities for
improving functionalities of B2B systems and removing limitation factors in development and use are discussed. It further presents
existing wide spread solutions and limitations of Serbian market, as an example of environment with a low level of IT readiness. We
designed and implemented B2B Web portal “Market4Net” which offers and illustrates possible improvements in the domain. This
portal is intended for Serbian market and aims to overcome described difficulties. Our research mainly concentrates on development
aspect of B2B, but also touches some issues related to collaboration management and trust building mechanisms.

HLADKÝ, VRATISLAV — POPOVIČ, ĽUBOŠ — SARNOVSKÝ, JÁN Modeling of a System with Hybrid Dynamics [full paper] The article deals with modeling of a system with hybrid dynamics and with two tools for modeling of such systems. For purpose
of modeling we chose the system of coupled tanks. The tanks are situated in different heights and dynamics of the system changes in
the moment when the liquid level in the second tank runs over the height of bottom of the first tank. That represents hybrid nature of
this system. We chose two tools for simulation of hybrid systems – MPT toolbox and HYSDEL and we specifically aim on modeling of
the system of coupled tanks by both these tools and on comparison of these tools. The tools are free however they do not work
independently but as a part of the simulation language Matlab.

SOBOTA, BRANISLAV — HROZEK, FRANTIŠEK Simulation and Visualization of Water Flow [full paper] At present the problematic of floods is larger than ever because global warming, deforestation and other factors increase chance
of flood creation. As prevention to floods, designing of many new anti-floods projects have been started. In the future, these projects
will stop floods completely or at least reduce their consequences. Water flow simulation and visualization is an integral part of this
process. Simulation is used for testing, if the project meets flood protection requirements. Visualization is used for presenting and
helps investors and wide public to better understand these projects. Stereoscopic visualization can be also used, because displaying
of outputs from simulation and visualization is important, too. This paper aims at fluid flow simulation and visualization software.
Also aims at hardware that can be used for stereoscopic visualization.

BABIČ, FRANTIŠEK — WAGNER, JOZEF — BEDNÁR, PETER Java Framework for Managing Semantic Repositories Based on RDF Standard [full paper] This paper presents a new approach for managing RDF repositories without necessary knowledge or experiences with RDF standard. The main differences between proposed solution and existing ones are adaptability on various semantic repositories, internal memory model for manipulation with RDF graphs and utilization of the Java annotations for mapping between ontology and java classes. Persistence API (P-API) represents Java library offered features for separation of business logic from RDF and allows simple integration of the semantic applications with selected RDF repository. The developers don’t need to work directly with RDF query languages; they work only with Java classes. The P-API can also help developers with manipulation within RDF graphs constructed from data stored in repository, as the proposed RDF Memory model fits perfectly with such purposes. This Memory model can be used for more complex and straightforward manipulation with ontological knowledge models. The P-API was designed and implemented as a supporting solution on the middleware layer of the collaborative system in order to make bilateral communication effective and faster. The exploitation within KP-Lab system is described in a section no.3 as an illustrative example for possible integration approach.

ŠUSTER, PETER — JADLOVSKÁ, ANNA Tracking Trajectory of the Mobile Robot Khepera II Using Approaches of Artificial Intelligence [full paper] This paper introduces a solution to the reference trajectory tracking problem done by a differential wheeled mobile robot
Khepera II. The paper includes a kinematic part and a dynamic part of the mathematical model of mobile robot. In this paper two
approaches of the artificial intelligence are used i.e. genetic algorithm approach from evolutionary computing techniques and theory
of neural networks. Genetic algorithm is used for parameters optimizing PID controller and K parameter so-called parameter speed
of rotation at the tracking reference trajectory into defined control structure. For the creation forward and inverse neural model by
the approach of neural networks are used forward neural networks of MLP type. The neural models are verified using Neural
Network Toolbox. The forward neural model of the mobile robot is implemented into the IMC control structure together with the
inverse neural model, which is used as a nonparametric neural controller. The purpose of the designed control structure is tracking
the defined trajectory of the mobile robot using approaches of the artificial intelligence, which are verified by the simulations in the
language Matlab/Simulink.

SOBOTA, BRANISLAV 3D Modelling of Chua's Circuit Boundary Surface [full paper] In this paper is presented the 3D model of Chua's circuit boundary surfaces. This represents the boundary between the two
attractors - chaos and a stable limit cycle. In the first part is described short history of Chua’s circuit and sequential circuits
boundary surface modelling and visualization. Second part describes 3D modeling of boundary surface. Three dimensional model of
boundary surface is created by appropriate combination lot of 2D cross-sections in surface u1=const using triangulation. The
modelling and visualization of boundary surface represents modelling and visualization of large graphical data set and is timeconsuming
process.

MICHALČIN, VIKTOR Subband Vector Quantization with Trellis Coding [full paper] In this paper, a subband coding system consisting a combination of analysis filter bank, vector quantizer and trellis coding is
designed. For the analysis filter bank, which decompose an input signal spectrum to bands we used a design method of cosine
modulated filter bank with the perfect reconstruction. The analysis filters are obtained by cosine modulation of a prototype filter with
the transfer function H(z), which optimization is performed right through the two-channel lossless lattice structure. Next block in this
coding system is the vector quantizer with a full search, which perform quantization in the subband domain. The final block of the
designed subband coding system is the block of trellis coding. This uses a block structured codebook of the vector quantizer with
an extended set of the quantization vectors in accordance with Ungerboeck’s theory of clustering the set.

SABO, MIROSLAV Cause-Based Model of Software Evolution [full paper] Domain-specific languages are used to develop highly specialized software. From the implementation perspective, evolution of
such software can not utilize evolutionary methods used for software developed in a traditional way. This paper presents the model of
evolution, considering the software system as a composition of two separate parts – domain-specific language reflecting the application
environment and system by itself reflecting the actual solution to a specified problem. The process of evolution is driven in accordance
to the nature of evolutionary change. The paper also discusses the categorization of changes by cause which induced them.

ABDERRAHMANI, ABDESSELAM — NASRI, MOHAMED ECONOMIC EMISSION DISPATCH SOLUTION USING PARALLEL SYNCHRONOUS PSO ALGORITHMS [full paper] This paper presents recent advances in applying parallel synchronous PSO algorithms for Optimal Power Flow in Combined
Economic Emission Dispatch environment of thermal units while satisfying the constraints such as generator capacity limits, power
balance and line flow limits. The use of orthogonal polynomials will give a very convenient means to obtain the equivalent cost
function of the generating units. A general formulation and the development of Cascade Correlation algorithm to solve the
environmentally constrained dispatch problem are presented. The objective is the minimization of the cost of operation, subject to all
the usual and emissions constraints. The results obtained by the proposed method are better than any other evolutionary computation
techniques proposed so far.
