Michal ŠPES - Ľubomír BEŇA - Michal KOSTEREC - Lukáš KRUŽELÁK - Zdeněk MÜLLER - Henryk WACHTA - Michal MÁRTON IMPACT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ON THE CAPACITY OF POWER LINES [full paper] This article deals with determining the value of maximum permissible current with consideration of ambient conditions. Each
ambient conditions and their influence on the value of current ampacity for ACSR conductor 350/59 in comparison with ampacity
given by calculation accordance the standard EN 50341 are described in this article. Static ambient conditions are given in this
standard and change in the ambient conditions was neglected in calculation of the resulting value. The aim of this article is to refer
the influence of the change of ambient environment and ambient conditions to the maximum permissible current.

Ch. V. S. S. SAILAJA - P. V. N. PRASAD COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS OF A DG INTEGRATED SYSTEM: CASE STUDY [full paper] Distributed Generation is capable of meeting the load of the consumers partially or completely. Depending on the type of DG
involved it can be operated in interconnected mode and islanded mode. The availability of numerous alternatives present for the DG
technologies and large initial investments necessitates a detailed cost benefit analysis for the implementation of DG technologies. In
this work an attempt has been made to study the costs involved in implementing the DG technologies. A practical system having two
kinds of distributed generation i.e., Diesel Generator and solar photovoltaic system for its back up purpose is considered. A detailed
cost analysis of the two DG technologies is carried out.

Vladimír HAJDUK - Martin DZIAK - Miroslav VOZŇÁK - Dušan LEVICKÝ ANALYSIS OF STEGANOGRAPHIC METHODS IN DCT DOMAIN [full paper] The main role of steganalysis is a successful detection of secret communication. This communication is exclusively created by
steganography. Steganographic methods deals with hiding a secret information into any type of multimedia data, for example to
static images. Among basic requirements to steganographic systems belongs the perceptual transparency. Inserted information is
perceptually transparent if an average subject is unable to distinguish any difference between data before and after embedding
process. Nevertheless, each steganographic method necessarily causes some change in some statistical parameter. It represents the
basis for building a successful steganalyzer. In this article are tested the impact of four steganographic methods to the selected
statistical parameters which are usually utilized in the image objective quality assessment. Specifically, peak signal-to-noise ratio,
normalized cross correlation, a local histogram of DCT coefficients and sample variance. The contribution of the article consists in
the usage of results in the theory of statistical vector creation in building the particular image steganalytic method.

Slavomír KARDOŠ - David BUŠEK VISUALIZATION OF MEMS STRUCTURES FOR EDUCATION OF AUTOMOBILE MICROSYSTEMS [full paper] The work is aimed at visualization of working principles of microelectromechanical sensors which are used in automobile
electronic systems. Attention is paid to accelerometric, inclinometric, pressure and MAF devices. These are used in systems for
stability control, passive and active safety as well as comfort management. The visualizations were realized using modern animation
techniques initiated by the creation of virtual materials, 2D and 3D objects, through scene exposure, pending their animation and
final cutting.

Ondrej KOVÁČ - Iveta GLADIŠOVÁ MULTIFOCAL IMAGES FUSION [full paper] The paper deals with the issue of multifocal image fusion. Two techniques of the hierarchical image representation are analyzed
herein. The first one is hierarchical decomposition based on the Laplacian pyramid and the second one is based on integer discrete
wavelet transformation. After the analysis of the above-mentioned decompositions techniques the algorithm of multifocal image
fusion is described. Attention is given to the detection of the focused parts of approximated images. From the detected parts, the
approximation of an image is obtained. The analyzed algorithm is experimentally verified and the accuracy with regard to the
decomposition method and level of decomposition is evaluated. The fusion is done with real microscopic images.

Štefan BEREŽNÝ - Michal STAŠ ON THE CROSSING NUMBER OF THE JOIN OF FIVE VERTEX GRAPH WITH THE DISCRETE GRAPH Dn [full paper] In this paper, we show the values of crossing numbers for join products of graph G on five vertices with the discrete graph Dn
and the path Pn on n vertices. The proof is done with the help of software. The software generates all cyclic permutations for a given
number n. For cyclic permutations, P1 – Pm will create a graph in which to calculate the distances between all vertices of the graph.
These distances are used in proof of crossing numbers of presented graphs.

Michal ŠIPOŠ - Slavomír ŠIMOŇÁK RASP ABSTRACT MACHINE EMULATOR – EXTENDING THE EMUSTUDIO PLATFORM [full paper] This paper presents the RASP (Random Access Stored Program) abstract machine emulator implemented as a plugin for emuStudio
– extendable platform for computer architectures emulation. It consists of three submodules – the CPU emulator (the core of the
plugin), main memory for storing RASP machine’s program and data and compiler of RASP assembly language. The compiler is able
to translate RASP program source code into the form executable by the emulator. The main goal is to provide a supporting tool for
Data Structures and Algorithms, respectively other subjects taught at the Department of Computers and Informatics. In addition to
this, its aim is also to contribute to emuStudio platform so as to support its further development. There are not many universal software
products for computer emulation flexibly extendable by plugins for new architectures and that is why emuStudio deserves our interest.
Its flexibility makes it an ideal study supporting tool.

Michal KOPČÍK - Ján JADLOVSKÝ EMBEDDED CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MOBILE ROBOTS WITH DIFFERENTIAL DRIVE [full paper] This article deals with design and implementation of control system for mobile robots with differential drive using embedded
system. This designed embedded system consists of single control board featuring ARM based microcontroller which control the
peripherals in real time and perform all low-level motion control. Designed embedded system can be easily expanded with additional
sensors, actuators or control units to enhance applicability of mobile robot. Designed embedded system also features build-in
communication module, which can be used for data for data acquisition and control of the mobile robot. Control board was
implemented on two different types of mobile robots with differential drive, one of which was wheeled and other was tracked. These
mobile robots serve as testing platform for Fault Detection and Isolation using hardware and analytical redundancy using
Multisensor Data Fusion based on Kalman filters.

Dušan MEDVEĎ - Ondrej HIRKA INVESTIGATION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS [full paper] This article is devoted to investigation of impact of electromagnetic fields around the electrical equipment used in a residential
area and their impact on the human body. This paper was based on sets of measurements of magnetic induction B with
magnetometer and on computational simulations in ANSYS for particular appliances often used in household. The results from
measurements and simulations led to setting out the recommendations for practical action in the form of elimination of harmful
electromagnetic radiation.
